STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH

After growing up in Tisdale, Tara spent 11 years in Montreal pursuing her dream as a competitive figure skater where she represented the likes of Team Saskatchewan and Team Canada, winning four medals on the national stage and competing on the Grand Prix circuit and qualified for the Junior World Championships.

Now back home on the prairies, Tara is looking to give back to the next generation of figure skaters. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2022, before achieving Gold Standard Personal Training certification through The Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CPT) in 2022. Now the head coach at the Dalmeny Skating Club and coach at Skate Saskatoon, she remains immersed in the figure skating community.

Tara’s passion for working with athletes and her positive leadership qualities make her a tremendous resource to Ignite and aspiring young figure skaters in the province.
