Injury care offers treatment, rehabilitation and recovery services for patients who have suffered from sports-related injuries, recurring pain or injuries that limit their physical activity, or who have recently undergone surgery and wish to speed up their recovery process.
Some of the common complaints include muscle or ligament sprains, strains, or tears, extremity joint stiffness/pain, neck/back pain, muscular imbalances, nerve pain, sciatica, or disc issues such as herniations, post-surgical rehabilitation, headaches, vertigo, and dizziness.
Your body has the ability to heal itself, and I am here to guide you through the process. My approach involves identifying the root cause of the pain, which is often not what we initially assume, and retraining the connection between the brain and the body to promote faster healing, improve overall function, and reduce the risk of future injury, allowing you to stay active.
Injury care seeks to:
Reduce or eliminate pain and heal from injury
Increase mobility, allowing for greater freedom of movement
Stabilize and strengthen the injured area to prevent future issues
Return to activities you love
This approach aims to address the underlying causes of your pain and injuries, leading to effective, long-term recovery. By treating, stabilizing and strengthening the affected areas, I can help prevent future injuries and ensure that you can return to your normal activities with less pain and greater mobility.

Achieving peak performance as an elite athlete requires more than just rigorous training, hours of practice, and seeking chiropractic care only when injured.
Instead, it's about optimizing mechanics, fine-tuning micro-movements/control, and implementing proper recovery techniques to enhance the training effect, and move the needle even further. This will improve speed, power, strength, and overall performance, all while building a more durable athlete.
Any athlete. Any age. Any Level. I can help.
Performance care seeks to:
Identify and address minor deficiencies before they become major issues
Optimize your movements for greater efficiency and endurance
Improve all aspects of physical performance
I take a comprehensive approach to sports performance, addressing all aspects of your physical abilities, integrating what is done on the field, in the gym, and in the clinic. By identifying and addressing any deficiencies in your movements, I can help you move more efficiently and with greater endurance. My goal is to help you reach peak performance while minimizing the risk of injury or burnout.

It's common knowledge that regular maintenance and preventative measures can prolong the lifespan and functionality of many things you use in your day-to-day life. However, many individuals choose to pursue healthcare as a reactive endeavor, rather than a proactive one.
As we age, our endurance and strength may decline while pain and injuries may become more prevalent. While these changes may seem like a normal part of aging, the reality is that they're not. Over time, untreated deficiencies or overcompensations can lead to more significant health issues.
A preventative healthcare program is designed for individuals who want to maintain their overall well-being and prevent potential health issues. Whether you feel relatively healthy or have minor aches and pains that you want to address before they become chronic problems, my program can help you. Regularly active individuals looking to minimize downtime or recovery time can also benefit from my program.
My goal is to prevent daily back pain and lingering injuries from becoming the norm. By prioritizing prevention and addressing any potential issues early on, I can keep you active and healthy for longer. When we're able to stay active, we tend to feel stronger, better, and younger.
A preventative care plan seeks to:
Catch small pains before they turn into more serious issues
Stop acute injuries from becoming chronic and affecting your daily life
Reduce recovery time in between activities
Allow you to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle
I believe that prevention is key to a healthy and active lifestyle. By identifying and addressing minor issues early on, we can help prevent them from becoming major problems down the line. My goal is to keep you moving, active, and pain-free for as long as possible.

At the first visit, patients can expect to receive a comprehensive history, physical examination, report of findings, and treatment plan tailored to their specific case. Referrals to other providers and/or imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, etc.) may be required. I believe in a collaborative approach, to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible.
A visit typically begins with a thorough assessment of the patient's medical history, current symptoms, and physical function. I will ask questions about the patient's sports and exercise habits, previous injuries, and any other factors that may be contributing to their symptoms.
Following the medical history, I will perform a physical examination, which may include functional, orthopedic and neurological tests, range of motion assessments, and other diagnostic tests as needed. In some cases, heading to the gym, or reviewing sport footage may be required to obtain the best possible understanding of your movement patterns.
No two assessments and treatment plans will be exactly alike, as they need to be tailored to your specific background, physical condition, and goals of care. I will seek to treat not only your diagnosis, but also any functional limitations that you have.

Joint Mobilization and Manipulation
These manual therapy techniques are used to improve joint mobility and function. Joint mobilization involves passive movement of a joint using gentle oscillating, gliding, or stretching techniques, with the goal of reducing pain, stiffness, and increasing joint range of motion. Joint manipulation, on the other hand, involves a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust typically resulting in an audible popping or cracking sound. This technique aims to restore joint mobility and relieve pain caused by joint dysfunction.
Soft Tissue Techniques: Functional Range Release (FRR) and Active Release Technique (ART)
These manual therapy techniques focus on improving joint mobility, reducing pain, and optimizing movement patterns. The technique uses a combination of soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and neuromuscular re-education to identify and address soft tissue restrictions and joint dysfunctions that contribute to pain and movement limitations.
FRR practitioners use a systematic approach to assess the patient's movement patterns and identify areas of soft tissue and joint restriction. Once identified, the practitioner applies controlled pressure and stretching techniques to the affected areas to release the restrictions and restore normal joint and soft tissue mobility.
The goal of FRR is to help patients achieve optimal joint function and movement patterns, reduce pain and discomfort, and improve overall physical performance.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
This manual therapy technique involves using specifically designed instruments to provide targeted deep tissue release to muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. The instruments used for IASTM have different shapes and edges that are used to apply pressure and scrape along the skin in a controlled manner to identify and treat areas of soft tissue restriction and dysfunction. The goal of IASTM is to stimulate the body's natural healing process, reduce inflammation by triggering a healing response, improve range of motion, and alleviate pain and discomfort caused by soft tissue injuries or chronic conditions.
Body Tempering
This manual therapy technique involves using cylindrical weight to aid in mobilizing the joints and soft tissues of the body. The technique is aimed at enhancing the range of motion and flexibility of the body, reducing soreness, mobilizing the myofascial layers, addressing trigger points or tender points, and strengthening tendons via external load.
Exercise Rehabilitation
Active interventions such as rehabilitative exercise seeks to re-enforce the range of motion and neurological changes that we are able to produce during treatment, as well increase the bodies resiliency to load and future stress.
