Physiotherapist

Leah has been in orthopedic physiotherapy private practice since graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2014. Prior to that she graduated with a Bachelor of Science with high honours from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007 and a Master of Science from Dalhousie University in 2009. Leah strives to help her clients meet their rehabilitation goals through the integration of manual therapy, functional movement, and therapeutic exercise prescription. She has acquired certifications in pelvic floor physiotherapy and Biomedical Dry Needling (BDN).

Leah has a special interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy, including prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation, incontinence, pelvic pain and dysfunction, and pelvic organ prolapse. As a new mom herself, Leah can attest to the key role of prenatal and postpartum pelvic floor care, especially in transitioning from rehabilitation to recreation and fitness.

Outside of work Leah enjoys spending time with her family, strength training, and triathlon.
