STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH
Rodeem was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a child, he spent most of his time playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. In 2012, he made the move with his family to Saskatoon, SK. After settling in, a close friend suggested he play football and since then, his love for the sport has only grown. Looking to improve his performance on the field, Rodeem trained with the Ignite team during his high school career, which provided him the tools to develop and succeed on the turf.
Rodeem attended Centennial Collegiate, participating in basketball, wrestling and football. After high school, he was recruited by the University of Alberta Golden Bears. In his last three seasons, Rodeem received the role of captain with the Golden Bears and was named a Canada West All-Star and 1st Team All-Canadian in 2021. After an accomplished season, he was selected 18th overall in the 2022 CFL Draft by the Montreal Alouettes. He is currently an offensive lineman for the Calgary Stampeders and had his first start in the CFL in 2023.
While attending the University of Alberta, Rodeem realized his passions for athletics, anatomy, and human movement as he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Through the desire to apply his education and share his love for sport, he became a certified Strength and Conditioning coach. He aims to provide clients and athletes a path towards reaching their goals in a positive environment, just as he received from the Ignite family.
