KERRI LOVELACE

MASSAGE THERAPY
FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY

Growing up in small town Saskatchewan Kerri fell in love with track and field at an early age.  Training primarily in hurdles and high jump through high school, she ended her track career at the Saskatchewan Summer Games in 2000 winning the Pentathlon.  After hanging up her spikes she focused her energy on strength and conditioning training in the gym and competed as a physique competitor while completing her diploma in Massage Therapy.

Massage was instrumental in seeing her through many injuries while running track and she quickly realized she wanted to help people the same way. Graduating in 2002 she has practiced for the last 17 years in Saskatoon, operating her own business for the last 10.  After starting a family, she joined IGNITE ATHLETICS in 2016 as a member of the Fit Group and through their programming was able to get her fitness level back on track. In 2017 she joined the team to offer massage and Fascial Stretch Therapy and loves the energy and passion they exude daily.

Kerri believes in a wholistic approach to health and nourishing your body through nutrition and therapy.  She recently completed her Level II in Fascial Stretch Therapy and integrates it into her massages or as a stand-alone treatment. In her down time, Kerri loves to curl up with a book, her dog and a good cup of coffee. She also enjoy spending time with her husband and two boys.

Delayne grew up on the Century family farm near Canwood with her 3 siblings. Being a farm kid meant many long hours working together in order to get all the chores done. She is not afraid of hard work and has the will power to complete any task assigned to her. Delayne received her education at the Canwood Public School, a small but very competitive K-12; and took part in drama, student leadership council and all sports with her favorites being volleyball and track & field.

Delayne is a kind, empathetic person with a desire to help people of all ages. She has always been interested in the health and wellness field which led her to pursue a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. She graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy with distinction in December of 2018.

Delayne enjoys working with athletes and enhancing their performance through massage. By teaching them the importance of their musculoskeletal health, she helps them stay accountable for their general well-being. After playing for the Saskatoon Valkyries for the past two seasons, Delayne quickly recognized how preventative care and therapy helps to maximize athletic performance and attain healthy goals. She is excited to be part of the team at IGNITE ATHLETICS!

GERRIT DELVER

MASSAGE THERAPY
RAPID RELEASE THERAPY

Gerrit is originally from Saskatoon and attended high school at Tommy Douglas where he played football and learned a lot about what it takes to play sports and be competitive. Working on the farm growing up taught him a strong work ethic which translated into his training. Playing football is what sparked his love for all sports, and he gained an appreciation for the dedication it takes to achieve a high skill level.

Gerrit’s life after football has gone into coaching youth football where he helps build fundamentals and a team atmosphere. He loves teaching kids’ lessons that translate from sports to the real world. Gerrit now competes as a powerlifter challenging his physical and mental capacities every training session.  He enjoys analyzing form, why injuries occur and how best to prevent them. He competed for team Saskatchewan at Nationals in 2019.

Gerrit turned to Massage Therapy after a severe car accident affected his daily living.  It was through manual therapies he was able to return to normal. His goal as a therapist is to spread the benefits of massage and help people the way it helped him. Gerrit enjoys working with people to achieve their goals through recovery and education of how daily habits can affect our every day life and training. When Gerrit isn’t training or treating, he enjoys playing music.
